Posting an ad
Is it free to post an ad?
Yes. Posting a normal ad is free.
What do I need to post an ad?
A free account, your business name, a clear title, a description of 120 to 500 characters, at least one tag, a main photo, and your phone and WhatsApp numbers. Price, email and website are optional.
How long until my ad is live?
Every new ad is reviewed first. It goes live once it is approved. If you edit a live ad, the change may be reviewed again.
How long does an ad stay live?
That depends on the category. You can see the expiry date in My ads, and you can renew an ad before it ends.
Featured ads
What is a featured ad?
A featured ad is shown at the top of its service and area page, so more people see it.
How do I get one?
Open My ads and request featured on an approved ad. You see the days and price for your category. Our team then contacts you for payment and activates it.
What happens when the featured period ends?
The ad stays live as a normal ad and you can request featured again.
Using GetListIn safely
How do I contact a business?
Use the Call and WhatsApp buttons on its listing.
How do I stay safe?
Compare more than one option, ask for a clear price before work starts, avoid paying large advances, and never share OTPs or bank details.
How do I report a bad ad or make a complaint?
Use the contact page. Choose Report an ad or Make a complaint and send us the link of the ad.
Accounts
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Choose Forgot password on the log in page. We email you a code to set a new password.
I did not get the verification code. Check your spam folder, then choose Send a new code on the verification screen.
Posting rules
These rules keep GetListIn useful and safe for everyone. Ads that break them are rejected or removed.
Your ad must be:
- Genuine: it describes a real business or service that you offer.
- In the right category and location.
- Accurate: the title, description, photos and contact numbers must be true and your own.
- Written in clear language, without spam, repeated keywords or all capital letters.
Not allowed:
- Adult or sexual services.
- Illegal goods or services.
- Fake, misleading or too good to be true offers.
- Ads that copy another business's photos, name or phone number.
- Ads that ask people to pay in advance without a clear reason.
- Offensive, hateful or threatening content.
- The same ad posted again and again, or in the wrong categories.
Use photos you own or have the right to use, and do not put phone numbers or links inside photos. We can reject, edit or remove any ad, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules.
